James Halliday mentions in the Australian Wine Companion, 2010 Edition that Domaine Chandon is an “outstanding Winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity – Top 6%, the most consistent wineries in Australia”.

The renowned range of Chandon sparkling wines showed its depth with seven wines achieving 92 points or above and the flagship Chandon Vintage Brut achieving a remarkable 95 points for the fifth consecutive year with the 2005 vintage.

While Domaine Chandon has long been renowned for its sparkling wines the still wines produced by the Yarra Valley winery have also shown their exceptional quality. Eight Domaine Chandon still wines were rated 94 points or above, the Pinot Noir Rosé 2008 was the highest rated Rosé in the country (equal) and the Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2007, scoring 96 points, was the equal second highest scoring Chardonnay in Australia.
